ECHAS

ECHAS explores the intersection of history, symbolism, and contemporary culture. This collection draws from three seemingly disparate sources: 16th-century European plate armor, the elegance and mythology of swans, and the lyrically dense, socially conscious East Coast Hip-Hop of the 1990s.

I am interested in how historical artifacts and cultural codes can be reinterpreted through digital media. Using mixed reality and a hybrid approach that combines real models with digital fashion, I intentionally blur the boundaries between the physical and the virtual.

Throughout this process, I continuously ask myself: Am I honoring the origins of these influences—or merely using them as aesthetic elements?
